Even though the comm is closed right now I do hold small hope that it will become active again.

A new book came out a while ago that changed Scout's history a little. Everything is the same except the adoption to the Beviin family that I 'fannoned' into her past. Instead I worked with cannon and put her into her new little family and took the focus off of farming and put it into healing (like the newer book did).

I'm holding strong onto my desire for Scout to have been Goran Beviin's mother so, yes, I left that in.

So here is the added cannon/fannon history for Scout. Once again everything is the same except for what happened when Kal Skirata first met Scout on Mandalore. This is a rough draft and will be cleaned up and edited.

*** Personal History Redux ***
((Because the woman who made the Mandalorians so awesome came out with one last book before LucasArts screwed her (and the Mando fans) Karen gave us some more Scout love I had to fix some of Scout's past. So here is the newer and updated history.))

When Ny brought young Scout to see Skirata on Mandalore he was nearly brought to tears by how much the young Jedi looked like his daughter-in-law Etain Tur-Mukan. Etain was a Jedi General that had married one the clones (Darman) Skirata had adopted and shortly after Darman and Etain had their baby, Etain had been murdered by fellow Jedi who though that the clones had come to kill them. It had been during the Jedi Purge and hundreds of Jedi had already been killed by the very clones they had trusted. Etain's death had been a tragic misunderstanding.

Skirata agreed to allow Scout to take refuge on the planet although he feared Vader would track her and the other Jedi survivors there. The girl was taken to a region on Mandalore called Kyrimorut where she met a man named Mij Gilamar. The two bonded and Mij felt very fatherly and protective of Scout and he began to teach Scout first aid skills. Mij had been working closely with a brilliant scientist named Doctor Ovolot Qail Uthan. Scout proved to be a great asset and was soon made Uthan's assistant while she continued to learn more about healing. Uthan and Mij became romantically involved and the three of them bonded into a family unit.

With Skirata still not feeling safe with Jedi on Mandalore he made deal with a Jedi Master called Djinn Altis (who was not a part of the Jedi Order even before the massacre) to take in the Jedi hiding on Mandalore. While the other Jedi agreed to go with Altis, Scout refused to leave her new family. Skirata let her stay even though Scout was unwilling to forget her Jedi training. She wanted to use her new healing skills with her Force knowledge to help the clones and the other Mandalorians.

*Scout surprised herself and the others with how quickly she took to the Mandalorian ways and yet she seemed to gain more Force control while living and working with her new family. Her fierce combat skills had allowed her to hold her own while training with Jedi proved to be very impressive to the Mandalorians

She met a young man named Jaxin Beviin and while they were very competitive over things such as who was a better pilot they quickly bonded. Around her sixteenth birthday she and Jaxen made their wedding vows during a mission off planet. A Mandalorian wedding is a simple thing consisting of a single vow:

"We are One when together,
We are One when apart,
We will share all,
We will raise warriors."

((The only expectations made of your spouse is fidelity, loyalty, and complete honesty. Spouses are to protect, aid, and love each other. Though the ceremony is simple, it is hardly taken lightly.

Family is everything. How you treat and care for you clan tells everyone what kind of person you truly are. Later in life Goran would go one to tell Boba Fett off for not having a family or clan.))

Jaxin and Scout would go on to have at least one son named Goran. (Yes, that Goran Beviin. I'm a fangirl. Deal with it lol) During Scout's pregnancy she became more in touch with the Force than ever. While she would never be as powerful as Obi-Wan or Anakin she was able to nurture a Force-bond with her unborn child. This bond would allow her to be able to get a feel of his emotions and while she couldn't share words across their bond she could send back her emotions to convey comfort and this bond continued until her death.

Goran was not truly Force sensitive himself, but because of the bond he shared with Scout he did inherit her skills when it came to reading his opponents (Battle Precognition). Like Scout he'd get brief glimpse of the future so he could out think his enemies in a fight. To protect her son Scout never told anyone else, including Goran himself, that he had even that much access to the Force and lead everyone to believe he was merely very skilled and 'lucky'. Since his Precognition was so very limited and brief he never really questioned the ability.

Scout continued to use her own innate healing skills with her limited Force abilities to become a respected healer almost the Mandalorian people.

Even though it's snowing Revan still had us do our morning meditations out in one the gardens. I was trying to meditate I swear it! But, it was too tempting! I don't know what came over me. One minute I'm sitting there trying to behave and the next I was overcome with the urge to levitate a nice, big pile of fluffy white snow right on top of her head.

I didn't know Jedi Knights used that kind of language....

Anywho, I now have cleaning and kitchen duty until the day I die. It was so worth it! *why, yes, that is laughter you are hearing load and clear*

Hey, Revan told me to practice the Force more often, right? Maybe it won't be so bad around here. It should be safe to go back to our quarters now.

Or maybe I could look around the empty Market for just a little longer. Just to be safe, you know?

Now that the lights are back up I was hoping someone might have heard from Tony? He was brought to the station right behind me.

I haven't seen him since we met on the Presidium. Commander Shepard's message about the others made me think of him. Dark hair, about my height, he was a bit hostile (he had just gotten into a row with Commander Ahtreide when I met him).

This sort of thing doesn't happen a lot around here does it? People going missing I mean.

She had been living with her new Mandalorian 'family' for about a month now. Before the Jedi had been wiped out all she knew about Mandos was their reputation for being the hardest, coldest bounty hunters in the Galaxy. Not to mention their unusual adopted habits. Now she was learning that most Mandos wanted nothing more than to farm and protect their clans. Bounty hunting paid the bills and honed their warrior instincts.

She never would have thought she'd be adopted into this life style. Never thought that she might like it. )

Lady Revan wanted to get a feel for my skill level. I told her that as far as Force control was concerned I'm pretty useless. It's always embarrassing when other Jedi see how weak I am in the Force. She just smiled gently and said it couldn't be that bad. Boy was she in for a shock.

Anyway, after some lightsaber drills Revan wanted me to try what she called a 'Reverse Shien Grip'. The reverse grip is basically holding the lightsaber upside down and held behind you. She said that with my strong wrists and battle reflexes I'd be able to block shots faster.

It was really weird holding the 'saber in reverse and having to 'relearn' stances, but after just a few drills I really started to enjoy the grip.

As Revan said, it's not the best for powerful melee blocks but for defensive stances and quick moves it's very effective.

Hopefully when those droids, er, geth attack next I'll be able to help protect some of the noncoms and cover the soldiers.

Revan. It's so strange to meet a Jedi born 4,000 years before Master Yoda. Also... there's something about her name, Revan, it sounds familiar, like I should know it. I know I've heard it somewhere before although I can't remember where. Maybe it's her last name throwing me off....

Oh, well. If it's important I'm sure I'll remember it later. Jedi Kenobi and I were assigned quarters in the suburban areas and I still need to get some basic stuff. Jedi gear packs don't carry a lot. Revan's relocating from the urban sector and I'm secretly pleased that I'll be rooming with a fellow Jedi. This is all so strange.

It's funny how you can miss little things when your grieving and fighting to stay alive.

Little things like not seeing that the big cut on you forehead has dripped down your face and given your young face the haunting look of bloody tears.

Or that a small animal has crawled into your small gear sack for a nice nap, thanks to careless custom agents that were still in shock from seeing two Jedi killed in action.

Funny how the two Jedi who came to the rescue later on could also overlook something so small in the face of relief that Master Yoda and his Orphaned Padawans had been found and were now safely on their way back to Triple Zero (Coruscant for all you non-commandos).
